It's been some time now since Prosper cancelled the debt sale and abrogated the LRA to benefit lenders and use "post charge off collection techniques".

Although there was a poll where lenders voted overwhelmingly for Prosper to sell the late loans at the (then) market price, Prosper overrode our wishes and our agreements.

So, have any of your 4+ lates resurrected and been made payments or paying off?

Or do these techniques consist of having them stacked in boxes in the corner?

Yes and this is, in my opinion, a fraud by Prosper against the lenders on these loans.

My 4+ late that is now 8 months late has now filed for BK. So i won't be getting a penny because prosper didn't sell.

My other 4+ late is a fraud that hasn't been repurchased.

And the ones that are recently 120 days late which could look attractive to a JDB are sitting in the same corner pile.

No payments.  My 10+ late will flip to 11 tomorrow, with no dagger after the autopulls.  No evidence of collection activity, no nothing.  Last payment July 25, 2007.  What a great anniversary coming up!

I've advised Prosper of my concern that the later these loans go, the less attractive they are, and have asked Prosper for information on what these fancy new techniques are.  No substantive response.

Prosper missed me.  They lifted my suspension a day early.

So far ... "post charge-off collection techniques" have been a complete disappointment.

There is no evidence that there actually are any such techniques in use.

Well Fred.  I suppose I'm not "disappointed."  And certainly not surprised.  By the time Dofu came up with that terminology, I had already given up all hope of that company attempting to do anything resembling standard business practices.

I had a loan go from 10+ Months Late to Fully Paid with a Community Payment.  No idea if this was somehow induced by Post Charge-Off Techniques, but discussion in the thread pointed towards the GL making CPs for members.

How long does this have to drag on before P-----r realizes their new and improved collections program isn't working?
