Nonattender, stop being a sophist.  You know (or should know) that the manner in which Prosper treats (1) bankruptcies; and (2) identity theft loans is of general interest to lenders.  Your advocacy - for reasons I just can't understand - for ignoring Prosper's numerous breaches to lenders does not mean that we should hide the information from potential lenders or from the curious.

Also, as you know, Prosper reads here.  IF anything posted in the lobby prompts action that helps lenders on any particular loan, that, by itself, is worth a public post.

I'm not on the loan & i find it fascinating lobby reading.
Ditto.

(If somebody's looking for a consensus on the lobby-worthiness of this thread, I submit this is not how to do it.)

It's always useful to know how Prosper handles specific loans, considering that how they handle one (which I am not on) gives insight on how they are likely to handle the other loans (including those I am on).

If NA has issues with so many lobby topics, perhaps HE doesn't belong in the lobby.

Of course it's "Lobby Worthy". Thank goodness NA is bumping all the posts contesting if they should be here or not ;)

Classic comment from Urbi to a poster who said they were leaving:

"Once again, we note that your threats are hollow and you come across like a sad, lonely blowhard.

I doubt anyone here gives a shit about you.  We pretty much all know that you are a vile and unethical parasite of a human being with an abnormal craving for attention."

+1.  Of course this thread belongs in the Lobby, as NA well knows.  But I think he should consider an absence from .org, since it seems to bother him so much.

Maybe Ferrix needs to install an "ignore all users" button for NA

Sorry to butt in on the fun but there appears to be a payment on the way on this one.

Han, that's odd.  Could you please let us know the amount, and if it clears?  The loan (fraudulent or not) is in bk.

Isn't it a Chapter 13?  Maybe the first Plan payment is on the way.

Could be, Ira.  That's why I'd love to know the amount.

It may be time to revisit PACER.....

Not to hikack the thread, but something else that should be revisited are the NAT loans -- I wonder how many Prosper has gotten around to serving yet?

LOL.  On the contrary, I think you've added to the fun.

Here's the equation:

12 pages of bad analysis of the court filings between a husband and wife going through a divorce and a bankruptcy
plus
26 claims that, surprise, "those debts aren't mine, they're the result of identity theft - my (circle one) husband/wife stole my identity!"
plus
2 erstwhile forum lawyers, donating their "valuable time", to opine that a mere allegation is a binding and incontrovertible fact (shocked)
plus
a bunch of people screaming "yeah, what they said!  i mean, they're attorneys after all!"
plus
a bunch of other people screaming "yeah, and it's prosper's fault i lent that money!  i want my money back!"
plus
1, from out of nowhere, as if it were magic, payment on the loan

= funny.

Glad I'm providing entertainment to you, NA.  But you have to take me off ignore to read my responses and to search for my old posts.  Isn't that too much work?

Based on the information I have (including the federal filings and a lengthy conversation with the husband's attorney), I'm confident that this was one of many identity theft loans the wife took out.  I explained to the attorney what Prosper is, and sent him the LRA.  He, in turn, told me that Prosper was the only debt that had not been settled, and IIRC,the others accepted the ID theft affidavit.

I should check back on PACER and see if he's filed the LRA, or if something shows as having happened with the Prosper debt.  I'll post if there's anything.
