urbi, I think they mean places where they have editorial control.

Ooh, I never thought about that.  I guess what you are saying, then, is that it wasn't a good idea for Prosper to close down their own forums?

Be careful with that. There is at least one known instance where a verdent poster who had been convicted of online loan fraud was on Prosper's FB trying to build a report and pimping his "friend's" listing. The only reason that Prosper cancelled his fully funded listing was because people here figured it out.

Is this new? Adding this to the end of each of their FB posts:

Notes offered by prospectus:

"Once again, we note that your threats are hollow and you come across like a sad, lonely blowhard.

I doubt anyone here gives a shit about you.  We pretty much all know that you are a vile and unethical parasite of a human being with an abnormal craving for attention."

How long before they remove the negative comments in typical fashion?

The third question they ask is: "Black Friday can get a little crazy. What's Your Black Friday Pet Peeve?"

So far they've kicked me, Bama and one other person off.  Apologies to the other person - I haven't figured out your .org name.

I tried to rejoin, no go.  I know it's typical, but Prosper's systematic shutting out anyone who dares to speak the truth is getting old.  It's what is leading to their eventual demise.  They did it with lenders, they do it the press and to anyone who doesn't tow the company line.

Prosper just makes me sad.  The potential is just that - potential.  They've stomped out any voice of dissent, the voice that could've most helped them.  It isn't your fans and yes men that help you grow.  It's the ones that point out flaws and are honest.

Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but how did you find out about others that were kicked off?

Because we talked about it. I am the "other" person she mentioned.

Prosper started replying within the past 24 hrs.
The 5 comments (shown in Urbi's post) is now 9 comments with 3 of the 4 new ones being from Prosper.  I didn't notice any deletions.

Probably not too much of a stretch to think that Prosper dropped by here?

There's a Prosper employee--ggmillar, i think--who reads .Org regularly and comments once in a while. It's not a secret. He doesn't post often, so you may not have seen him before.
